Why Mountain Pathways?

The Mountain Pathways tradition has been built over the last quarter century through a collection of excellent personnel implementing what we feel is a superior educational model.

However, it is important to note that Montessori education is not the perfect fit for every child. The model requires concentration and personal responsibility, respect for self and others, and family involvement. Students are expected to fulfill high expectations in character development as well as academics. There is no bullying at Mountain Pathways, and no tolerance for even the most basic displays of disrespect toward peers or adults. With these expectations established, the students of Mountain Pathways go on to love learning and to become the most well-adjusted, contributing members of our greater community.
